I got Tucker a pool to add to his play area.  He loves it!  We go outside every afternoon and I fill it up.  Here's some pictures.

Here's the video from Tucker's 1st B-day party. If you double click on the video instead of watching it on the blog you can see Tucker better. The blog cuts him off a little on the right side. I can't believe that was almost 2 months ago. Time is flying by.

We took a week off for Tucker's birthday and headed out to California.  Our first stop was in Palm Springs where we visited my in-laws.  We had a great time.  Here are some pictures in Palm Springs.

We finally finished Tucker's playground complete with a slide & swing, water table, sandbox, and lots of toys.  We even got a sprinkler that goes on the end of the hose so he can play in it.  He loves water.  We spend at the very least a couple hours outside everyday.

After getting Tucker's playset we started making him a playground.  Our plan is to fill the area with rubber mulch made for playgrounds and put in a sandbox, his playset, and a water table which is like a sandbox table but with water.  We'll also have lots of outside toys too.  Here's how our project is going so far.

I forgot to take a before picture but if you look past Tucker's head in this picture you can kind of see how crappy it looked.
















The first 3 days we dug up all the gravel (I hate gravel), bark (thanks to the dog area we made that they never used), and did our best to level it out.
















The next day we tamped everything down.  We also put down sand so our flagstone and border wouldn't sink into the ground.















Today we put up our stone border and put the flagstone path back, except now you can actually see the flagstone since they sit on top of the ground instead of underneath it.  Next we will put up a small white fence to keep the dogs out and I'm ordering my rubber mulch.  Since we are going on vacation to California next week we won't be able to finish until we get back but I will update as soon as we do.

We bought Tucker his first playset.  It has a swing, slide, lookout, and wheel.  He loves it!  He doesn't know how to climb up yet but he'll probably learn quickly.  Since we bought him the playset we decided he needed his own playground in our backyard which started our new project.

Tucker started walking! I made two videos but I'll spare you the first one because I was screaming next to the camera. Here's the second video. This one is better because he walked a little farther.

Tucker's not walking yet but he's very close.  He didn't stand up like this on his own, I put him up but he can balance himself for a bit with no help.  I'm going to keep practicing with him.  Plus he thinks it is a funny game.

Tucker was looking a little shabby so we took him in to Cici to get his first haircut.  I did not keep his hair but we did take these pictures.  I think it went really well considering that when I've tried to trim his hair a little he goes crazy.  He was a good boy and got his first lollipop too.

Since Jesse moved out Tucker got his own room at my mom's which is very nice.  He now sleeps in the same crib that me, Jesse, Georgia, and Beau all used as babies.  That's so cool.

Christmas at my mom's was so much fun!  My dad went to Arizona to see Georgia so the house was nice and quiet.  We spend 4 relaxing days and I watched the whole season of Dexter so I was very happy.

Here is a picture of Tucker with his snowman.  My mom made it to go with the snowmen she has for each of us kids.  It is so cute!

Jesse gave Tucker a very special gift.  It is his hat that he wore in Iraq while I was pregnant with Tucker.  It meant so much to me and is now hanging in Tucker's room.  I can't wait until Tucker is old enough to realize what a special gift he got and what a great uncle he has (actually two great uncles).
