Not walking yet but very, very close

Tucker's not walking yet but he's very close. He didn't stand up like this on his own, I put him up but he can balance himself for a bit with no help. I'm going to keep practicing with him. Plus he thinks it is a funny game.
Tucker is everywhere!

Tucker's first haircut
Tucker was looking a little shabby so we took him in to Cici to get his first haircut. I did not keep his hair but we did take these pictures. I think it went really well considering that when I've tried to trim his hair a little he goes crazy. He was a good boy and got his first lollipop too.
Tucker in my baby crib
Since Jesse moved out Tucker got his own room at my mom's which is very nice. He now sleeps in the same crib that me, Jesse, Georgia, and Beau all used as babies. That's so cool.
Christmas in California
Christmas at my mom's was so much fun! My dad went to Arizona to see Georgia so the house was nice and quiet. We spend 4 relaxing days and I watched the whole season of Dexter so I was very happy.
Here is a picture of Tucker with his snowman. My mom made it to go with the snowmen she has for each of us kids. It is so cute!
Jesse gave Tucker a very special gift. It is his hat that he wore in Iraq while I was pregnant with Tucker. It meant so much to me and is now hanging in Tucker's room. I can't wait until Tucker is old enough to realize what a special gift he got and what a great uncle he has (actually two great uncles).
Christmas in Arizona
Tucker's first Christmas was great! He had Christmas twice. First at home and then we spent actual Christmas in California at my mom's. Here are some pictures of Tucker opening his Christmas presents before we left for California and a picture of my tree.
Bad picture of Nathan, good picture of Tucker
Tucker's Injury
Here's a picture of Tucker's hand. He hurt himself badly and we had to wrap his hand for a week. Tucker climbed out the dog door one day and pulled a pot over on his hand. I actually feel really guilty about this because a) I didn't stop him from messing with the pot, b) I didn't notice that he had cut a HUGE chunk of skin off the tip of his thumb, and c) I dragged him around to 5 stores and didn't see his thumb until we were taking a bath that night. Sometimes I suck as a mom.
Well, because it was on the tip of the thumb that he sucks, he no longer sucks his thumb and it is harder to put him to bed. I used to lay him down, he would suck his thumb, and fall asleep. NOT ANY LONGER! It's starting to get easier but if you ever have a problem trying to get a kid to stop sucking his thumb send him to my house. I can take care of that problem real quick.
New pictures of Tucker
Once again it has been a long time since I've blogged so here's the latest on Tucker. He just had his 9 month appointment which went well. He has quickly transitioned from baby food to real people food. He still has his bottles but he is learning how to drink out of a sippy cup and that has been going well. He only gained 2 pounds from his 6 month appt to his 9 month appt but I was glad for several reasons. He's now in the 65% for weight & 75% for height.
Tucker is about to get his first pair of shoes but that has been a problem because his feet are a little on the chunky side. I'll blog more about that when the shoes get here. I do think that he is very close to walking. Maybe another month.
Here's some recent pictures of Tucker.
